The Summer Solstice has passed and we find ourselves in a precious time of light. The longest day of the year has come and gone, though the smoke from the bonfires is still wound into our hair like silk braids, and we know that shadow will come again. For now, we lose ourselves in the verdant greens, dark juices running from our mouths. Now is the time we can gain entry to the most forbidden gardens: the midnight vine and the serpentine orchid, blooming ferociously and fearlessly in the face of the darkness that will soon fall. Walk with us through the gardens and stain your fingers with blackberries. It is the only token we can take with us.
