ESTIMATED SIZE: X-Small to Medium
CONDITION: Good vintage condition. This garment is very structurally sound, more so than most Victorian garments I see, but it is quite faded. It's mostly even, and has gone a quite delightful warm hunter green, but please note it is no longer black. The originally black lace has faded substantially as well. The beading is remarkably well-preserved; lining is in wonderful condition and may have been replaced at some point. There are a few moth holes and spots of lighter discoloration throughout; all reflected in price as these capes are quite rare. A great chance to own a piece of Victorian Mourning at a very affordable price! Please keep in mind this is a vintage garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
COLOR: Faded from black to warm hunter green with brown lace and black beading
MORE INFORMATION: No maker or contents tags. Appears to be made of a lightweight faille or rayon with cotton lace and beading -- possibly jet or glass. Dry clean only with a trusted cleaner experienced in vintage.
PLEASE NOTE: Black Cat Clothiers cannot accept returns due to fit. Please compare the detailed measurements noted above to one of your garments that fits you well. Additionally, all of our clothing is pre-owned and vintage/antique, which means each piece may feature minor signs of wear, as noted in the description. To learn more, please view our store policies.
