Ethereal 1910s Edwardian skirt created from sheer, light cotton and decorated with gorgeous ruffles and unusual quilt-like panels. Just as beautiful paired with an antique blouse as it is layered over a modern maxi dress! Unlined, sheer, drawstring closure.
MEASUREMENTS: (taken with garment lying flat; waist & hips doubled for your convenience) →waist (adjustable): 26-32 inches →hips: up to 42 inches →length: 34.5 inches
ESTIMATED SIZE: Small-Large; adjustable to drawstring. Keep in mind it will look different based on your measurements, and that wearing it smaller than 30-32 inches at the waist will cause bunching around the drawstring.
CONDITION: Very good antique condition with a few light spots of discoloration and a few moth nibbles. A larger moth nibble was addressed by the previous owner with glue. These flaws disappear when worn over a slip, but are not noting. Please see photos. Please keep in mind this is a vintage garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
MORE INFORMATION: No maker or content labels. Appears to be made of cotton lawn with a modern satin ribbon that replaced whatever the old drawstring was. Hand wash.
PLEASE NOTE: Black Cat Clothiers only accepts returns if a mistake was made in describing the garment, for which we ask you to contact us within 3 days of receiving the garment. Please compare the detailed measurements noted above to one of your garments that fits you well. Please be aware all monitors display colors differently. Additionally, all of our clothing is pre-owned and vintage/antique, which means each piece may feature minor signs of wear, as noted in the description. To learn more, please view our store policies.
