MEASUREMENTS: (taken with garment lying flat; bust, waist & hips doubled for your convenience) →shoulder to shoulder: 14.5 inches →bust: open →waist: open →hips: open →length: 56 inches
ESTIMATED SIZE: Small to Large; due to the open front of this cape, it can accommodate a number of sizes provided the shoulder & length measurements are appropriate for you.
CONDITION: Very good vintage condition with some flaws to note. Though this garment is completely structurally sound, there is a repaired seam separation in the lining, the button was reinforced, and there is some discoloration to the lining, not noticeable when worn. The discoloration is most noticeable along the back and near the underarms, where it has gone pink. There is also some crushing to the velvet nap throughout this cape, again, not very noticeable when worn. All reflected in price. This is a beautiful, rare piece of vintage that deserves to be worn for many years to come. Please keep in mind this is a vintage garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
COLOR: Black with beige lining and golden-white fur trim
MORE INFORMATION: No maker or contents label besides National Recovery Act. Appears to be made of silk or a fine rayon velvet with acetate lining. Fur on the hood is possibly ermine or rabbit. Dry clean only.
PLEASE NOTE: Black Cat Clothiers cannot accept returns due to fit. Please compare the detailed measurements noted above to one of your garments that fits you well.
