Ethereal and romantic late 1960s/early 1970s Victorian Revival bridal gown by the revered House of Bianchi featuring an intricate lace bodice, long blouson sleeves, detailed cuffs and a flowing train. One of the prettiest I've come across! Unlined but opaque, back zipper.
MEASUREMENTS: (taken with garment lying flat; bust, waist & hips doubled for your convenience) →collar: 14 inches around →shoulder to shoulder: 13 inches →chest: 32 inches →waist: 28 inches →hips: free →length: 52 inches plus train →sleeve length: 24 inches
ESTIMATED SIZE: Small; best for smaller bust.
CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition with a few teeny tiny flaws; very small stain from an old safety pin on one sleeve, some very light wear/pulling where the bodice meets the skirt, and super light, impossible-to-photograph yellowing at some places on the skirt due to age that may lighten with another soak. I'm being SUPER descriptive here with some things that I normally think fall under "general vintage wear" because I understand this may be worn for a very important day! This garment presents absolutely beautifully. Please keep in mind this is a vintage garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
COLOR: Warm white body with white lace on beige ground
MORE INFORMATION: By House of Bianchi. Polyester blend. Dry clean only.
PLEASE NOTE: Black Cat Clothiers cannot accept returns due to fit. Please compare the detailed measurements noted above to one of your garments that fits you well.
