Spellbinding late 1880s Victorian mourning veil crafted from a gorgeous floral chantilly lace featuring decorative scalloped edging. Add to your line-up of mourning regalia or finish off your alternative bridal look! Sheer, no pins or combs.
CONDITION: Very good antique condition with some light wear throughout to the corded edge. This veil is not evenly constructed on each side, as seen when folded over end to end -- I'm not sure why (perhaps it was fashioned from another larger piece) and it's not very evident when worn, but is certainly worth noting. Please keep in mind this is a vintage garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
MORE INFORMATION: No maker or contents labels. Appears to be made of silk & cotton chantilly lace. Dry clean only.
PLEASE NOTE: Black Cat Clothiers only accepts returns if a mistake was made in describing the garment, for which we ask you to contact us within 3 days of receiving the garment. Please compare the detailed measurements noted above to one of your garments (not your body measurements; clothing should allow room for movement) that fits you well. Please be aware all monitors display colors differently. Additionally, all of our clothing is pre-owned and vintage/antique, which means each piece may feature minor signs of wear, as noted in the description. To learn more, please view our store policies.
SHIPPING: All orders are processed and shipped within 1-3 business days, unless otherwise noted. Shipping rates are calculated by USPS at checkout and are dependent on the weight of the item(s) you've purchased in addition to packaging.
