Gorgeously understated 1880s Victorian mourning silk blouse featuring lush, abstract patterning, pintucking across the bust and dramatic bishop sleeves with a wide cuff. Just as beautiful with other Victorian pieces as it is with modern treasures! Fully lined, hook & eye closures.
MEASUREMENTS: (taken with garment lying flat; bust, waist & hips doubled for your convenience) →shoulder to shoulder: 16 inches →bust: 34 inches →waist: 28 inches →length: 14.5 inches →sleeve length: 24 inches
ESTIMATED SIZE: Small-Medium
CONDITION: Good antique condition with a few small moth holes throughout, plus threadbare areas at back of right underarm and at front of both. However, this isn't actively shattering (to my surprise!) and the cotton lining is sturdy, so I would say this is appropriate for careful, moderate wear. Please keep in mind this is a vintage garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
COLOR: Black with self-fabric pattern
MORE INFORMATION: No maker or contents labels. Appears to be made of silk with cotton lining.
PLEASE NOTE: Black Cat Clothiers only accepts returns if a mistake was made in describing the garment, for which we ask you to contact us within 3 days of receiving the garment. Please compare the detailed measurements noted above to one of your garments (not your body measurements; clothing should allow room for movement) that fits you well. Please be aware all monitors display colors differently. Additionally, all of our clothing is pre-owned and vintage/antique, which means each piece may feature minor signs of wear, as noted in the description. To learn more, please view our store policies.
SHIPPING: All orders are processed and shipped within 1-3 business days, unless otherwise noted. Shipping rates are calculated by USPS at checkout and are dependent on the weight of the item(s) you've purchased in addition to packaging.
