Bewitchingly darling 1890s Victorian bodice featuring a sheer Swiss dot overlay and fantastic floral lace capelet detail on the shoulders. Pair with loops of mourning beads and a sweeping skirt. Fully lined, hook & eye closures at front and neck.
MEASUREMENTS: (taken with garment lying flat; bust, waist & hips doubled for your convenience) →collar: 12 inches around →shoulder to shoulder: 14 inches →bust: 36 inches →waist: 28 inches →length: 19 inches →sleeve length: 16 inches
ESTIMATED SIZE: Small-Medium
CONDITION: Good antique condition with some issues to note: the silk beneath the sheer overlay has shattered in two places: along the hook placket and on the other side of the bodice near the bust. The cotton lining is sturdy, making this bodice wearable with care, but these tears are noticeable and can't be repaired easily due to fragility of silk. The interior lining is also discolored throughout. Priced accordingly! Please keep in mind this is a vintage garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
MORE INFORMATION: No maker or contents labels; appears professionally made from cotton & silk
