Fantastic and utterly wearable 1900s cotton blouse featuring a wonderful, tonal herringbone pinstripe, high neck and peplum. Just gorgeous with an Edwardian walking skirt or modern denim! Unlined, opaque, button closure at front + hook & eye at waist.
MEASUREMENTS: (taken with garment lying flat; bust, waist & hips doubled for your convenience) →collar: 13.5 inches →shoulder to shoulder: 17 inches →bust: 40 inches →waist: 38 inches →length: 20 inches →sleeve length: 23 inches →cuff: 5 inches
ESTIMATED SIZE: Large
CONDITION: Very good antique condition. There are two darned moth holes: one on the bust near the button, as pictured, and one at the top of the black. The buttons appear to be a placement, circa maybe 1950s? They emulate Victorian carved glass buttons, so I've left them, but a dark shell or mother of pearl from 1900-1910 would be a nice replacement if it's a concern; the black carved glass buttons are more appropriate for fancier mourning garments. Please keep in mind this is a vintage garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
MORE INFORMATION: No maker or contents labels. Appears to be made of cotton twill. Hand wash.
