Stunningly beautiful early 1900s Victorian black tissue silk blouse featuring gothic details, like a deep v-neckline accentuated with mesh and soutache, three-quarter-length sleeves dripping in more soutache, architectural back pleats and a high neck. May have have been a wealthy woman's maternity blouse due to tent cut of blouse, but it's certainly wearable in modern day whether you're expecting or not! Unlined, slightly sheer, button-up back with snap closure at back of neck.

CONDITION: Good antique condition with a number of smaller flaws to note. There are spots of discoloration throughout; please see photos. There are two small holes at the left shoulder; these could be darned to further preserve the garment. The back button's surfaces are worn under inspection. There are two repairs: a seam separation at the sleeve and a tear at a pintuck near the collar. This garment's mesh and embroidery is gloriously preserved, making it deserving of a new home. It is wearable when treated carefully. Please keep in mind this is an antique garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
