Stunning late 1900s / early 1910s Edwardian bodice featuring a sheer high neck, lace overlay and bishop sleeves. Just perfect with billowing black skirts or layered underneath sleeveless dresses. Unlined, semi-sheer, hook & eye closures at back and wrists.
MEASUREMENTS: (taken with garment lying flat; bust, waist & hips doubled for your convenience) →collar: 12 inches →shoulder to shoulder: 16 inches →bust: 36 inches →waist: 28 inches →length: 17 inches →sleeve length: 19 inches →wrist: 7 inches around
ESTIMATED SIZE: X-Small to Small; reads a bit larger, but between the narrow collar and the fit of this garment, it's best for a smaller size.
CONDITION: Good antique condition. This garment is in good structural condition, but the lace is a tiny bit dry and there's unfortunately some rusting around the hooks and eyes at both the back closures and the wrists, plus a shadow of a discoloration to one sleeve. Presents very well, but noticeable when examined. There is no closure at the high neck, but one could be added. Please keep in mind this is a vintage garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
MORE INFORMATION: No maker or contents labels. Appears to be homemade from cotton. Hand wash.
PLEASE NOTE: Black Cat Clothiers only accepts returns if a mistake was made in describing an item, for which we ask you to contact us within 3 days of receiving the item.
