Positively bewitching early 1900s Edwardian walking skirt in a beautiful embossed wool featuring a raised leaf-like pattern, a flowing a-line cut, slightly longer train and delicious box pleats at the back to recreate the look of a bustle. Pair with your favorite ghostly blouse and haunt the local cemetery. Unlined but opaque, hook & eye closures.
MEASUREMENTS: (taken with garment lying flat; waist & hips doubled for your convenience) →waist: 23 inches →hips: 38 inches →length (front): 36.5 inches →length (back - train): 38 inches
ESTIMATED SIZE: XX-Small to X-Small; too small for my size 4 dressform
CONDITION: Excellent antique condition -- nearly mint, as much as I hate saying that with older places! I've replaced a hook & eye and noticed maybe the very beginnings of some threadbare spots, but for its age, it's just stunning. It may have never been worn. Please keep in mind this is a vintage garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
MORE INFORMATION: No maker or contents labels. Feels like wool. Dry clean with an experienced shop only.
PLEASE NOTE: Black Cat Clothiers cannot accept returns due to fit. Please compare the detailed measurements noted above to one of your garments that fits you well. Additionally, all of our clothing is pre-owned and vintage/antique, which means each piece may feature minor signs of wear, as noted in the description. To learn more, please view our store policies.
