Just a showstopper with all the details! Pair with Edwardian black wool walking skirts or modern ware like high-waisted denim. Hook & eye closure at neck and interior lining, button closure on top.
MEASUREMENTS: (taken with garment lying flat; bust, waist & hips doubled for your convenience) →collar: 13 inches around →shoulder to shoulder: 15 inches →bust: 34 inches →waist: 26 inches →length: 17 inches →sleeve length: 24 inches →cuff: 8 inches around
ESTIMATED SIZE: XX-Small to Small
CONDITION: Very good antique condition with some small, hand repairs, and a few small apologies, including some little pinholes and stress spots to the fabric, as well as an unfinished hem to the interior corset-lining; please see last few photos. A few of the buttons are mismatched down the back, but this is more or less covered by the button placket, and the buttons on the wrist are glorious, starburst-carved shell buttons -- so all good where it really matters! Please keep in mind this is a vintage garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
MORE INFORMATION: No maker or content labels, but apparently once owned by a "Bessie" as noted in the boning on the collar. Appears to be made of cotton, plus shell buttons. Hand wash separately.
PLEASE NOTE: Black Cat Clothiers only accepts returns if a mistake was made in describing the garment, for which we ask you to contact us within 3 days of receiving the garment. Please compare the detailed measurements noted above to one of your garments (not your body measurements; clothing should allow room for movement) that fits you well. Please be aware all monitors display colors differently. Additionally, all of our clothing is pre-owned and vintage/antique, which means each piece may feature minor signs of wear, as noted in the description. To learn more, please view our store policies.
SHIPPING: All orders are processed and shipped within 1-3 business days, unless otherwise noted. Shipping rates are calculated by USPS at checkout and are dependent on the weight of the item(s) you've purchased in addition to packaging.
