Lovely, effortless and hard-to-find 1910s Edwardian mittens crafted from a lovely silk-wool blend and featuring a gorgeous scalloped pattern, plus tiny silk ribbon bows. So charming with your full antique regalia or added as an antique accent to any winter outfit! Pull-on, no closures.
CONDITION: Very good antique condition. There were a few pulls to the underside of the wrist on the left mitten that created holes; I've cleaned them up and secured them, but due to the open knit structure, it is noticeable. Shouldn't be an issue while worn! The silk ribbons also have some fraying -- this is very fine French silk ribbon, so I'm delighted they are still with us at all! Please keep in mind this is a vintage garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
MORE INFORMATION: No maker or contents labels. Appears to be made of a silk and wool blend, plus silk ribbons. Hand wash.
