Incredibly rare and wonderful 1910s Edwardian lace-up corset by "American Lady" featuring lace trim at the underbust, original laces and garter straps, and boning throughout for the perfect shape. Whether you wear or display this piece, it's an absolute classic! Fully lined, eyelet & grommet at front with lace-up at back. Please note I've shown the lace-up in the front as my mannequin is too large, but this is is a lace-back corset.
MEASUREMENTS: (taken with garment lying flat; bust, waist & hips doubled for your convenience) →underbust: 22-26 inches →waist: 22-24 inches →hips: 34-38 inches →length: 17 inches
ESTIMATED SIZE: XXX-Small; if you really played with the laces / replaced them with longer ones and were okay with the lace section being very open, you might get up to a X-Small or Small, but this garment is TINY.
CONDITION: Good antique condition with discoloration from age throughout; the area near the lace-up is darker and it fades to lighter toward the grommets. There are rust stains and some rusting on the metal garter straps. I've soaked this corset extensively and treated the rust stains. Extremely structurally sound! Please keep in mind this is a vintage garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
COLOR: "Tea-stained" cream
MORE INFORMATION: By American Lady. Appears to be made of cotton. Hand wash only.
