Ethereal 1910s Edwardian sheer net blouse featuring a middy-style sailor collar, square neckline and the prettiest crochet lace details. Pair with high-waisted 70s denim for an era-defying look or layer beneath your flapper dresses. Unlined, sheer, hook & eye closure at front.
MEASUREMENTS: (taken with garment lying flat; bust, waist & hips doubled for your convenience) →bust: 38 inches →waist: 40 inches →length: 17 inches
ESTIMATED SIZE: Medium-Large, but looks good oversized as shown on dressform
CONDITION: Very good antique condition with some light discoloration nd a few small holes -- one at the left side and a few larger ones on the underside of the collar; not very noticeable when worn, though are under inspection. I've soaked this top and it's lightened considerably to a cream; if you wanted it to be snow-white, I think you could continue to soak in a product like RetroClean and get it there, but I like the soft tea-stained cream it's at now. Please keep in mind this is a vintage garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
COLOR: Tea-stained cream
MORE INFORMATION: No maker or contents labels. Likely homemade. Feels like cotton net & crochet. Hand wash.
PLEASE NOTE: Black Cat Clothiers only accepts returns if a mistake was made in describing the garment, for which we ask you to contact us within 3 days of receiving the garment. Please compare the detailed measurements noted above to one of your garments (not your body measurements; clothing should allow room for movement) that fits you well. Please be aware all monitors display colors differently. Additionally, all of our clothing is pre-owned and vintage/antique, which means each piece may feature minor signs of wear, as noted in the description. To learn more, please view our store policies.
