Beyond bewitching late 1930s / early 1940s sheer black lace gown dripping in the most delicious details like a scalloped neckline, three-quarter length sleeves, lace godet panels in the skirt, and a velvet belt with matching trim on the bishop sleeves. The bodice is made of a small floral lace with larger floral accents and the skirt is a sheer black material with lace godet inserts. The cut of the skirt lends itself to so much elegant movement when worn, and that neckline is just divine with so many jewelry options. Positively luxurious, I can't say enough about this gown and its construction; photos don't do her justice! Don her before a night dancing with the fey beneath the blood moon. Please note this gown is unlined and shown with a slip, which is not included. Hook & eye closure at side. Eligible for layaway, please contact me for more information!
ESTIMATED SIZE: Medium-Large; as this has a side closure, you'll need to have enough room to pull the garment over your head. Seems to best best for a taller wearer with a long torso. Pinned on dressform.
CONDITION: Excellent, near mint vintage condition - something I rarely say! All I see is some fading on the back lace godot panel -- not terribly noticeable when worn, as photographed. Please keep in mind this is a vintage garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
MORE INFORMATION: No maker or contents label. Feels like silk chiffon. Dry clean only.
PLEASE NOTE: Black Cat Clothiers only accepts returns if a mistake was made in describing the garment, for which we ask you to contact us within 3 days of receiving the garment. Please compare the detailed measurements noted above to one of your garments (not your body measurements; clothing should allow room for movement) that fits you well. Please be aware all monitors display colors differently. Additionally, all of our clothing is pre-owned and vintage/antique, which means each piece may feature minor signs of wear, as noted in the description. To learn more, please view our store policies.
