Timeless and alluring late 1940s early 1950s deep red velvet dress featuring a scoop neckline, long zippered sleeves, a softly flowing knee-length skirt, lovely v-shaped detailing on bodice and ornamental closure at the waist. Perfect for a holiday soiree at the castle or sipping wine under the snow-covered willow tree. Lined, back zip and snap closure at waist.

CONDITION: Very good vintage condition with a few small flaws to note. The snap closure at the waist was moved over, so there are marks in the velvet where the old snaps where. There is some wear near the hook & eye closure at the neck. There are a few areas of wear to the velvet nap. Overall, this dress has a few small imperfections not noticeable when worn. There is a good deal of fabric in the hem, so it may have beens shortened from a long dress. Please keep in mind this is a vintage garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
