Inky black 1940s midi skirt with its original skinny suede belt, full skirt & femme fatale appeal. Luscious drape and lots of movement! Unlined, side zipper.
MEASUREMENTS: (taken with garment lying flat; bust, waist & hips doubled for your convenience) →waist: 24 inches →hips: free →length: 30 inches →belt: 25-28 inches
ESTIMATED SIZE: XX-Small
CONDITION: Very good vintage condition with a few flaws to note. There is some light sun fade near one hip (see last photo), mostly hidden by the fabric's folds. There is wear to the suede belt, but it's perfectly functional (see second to last photo) and a tiny snag near the front (see third to last photo.) I rescued this skirt from the bottom of a bin in a warehouse, so it has some of the ground-in creases this fabric will get when not stored properly. They've already removed considerably, but this garment will need a few more steamings and/or dry cleanings and time spent stored on a hanger until they've all fallen out for good! It's a gorgeous, well-made skirt, but I always like to be as transparent as possible. Please keep in mind this is a vintage garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
COLOR: Inky black
MORE INFORMATION: No label or contents tags. Appears to be tailor or seamstress made, likely from an acetate with a genuine suede belt.
PLEASE NOTE: Black Cat Clothiers only accepts returns if a mistake was made in describing the garment, for which we ask you to contact us within 3 days of receiving the garment. Please compare the detailed measurements noted above to one of your garments that fits you well. Please be aware all monitors display colors differently.
