I Bewitching and slinky 1940s black rayon blouse featuring sheer black lace cutouts, peplum waist and tons of little buttons. Really the dream 1940s piece is so many ways with all the right details! This blouse appears to have been homemade, but certainly by someone who knew what they were doing -- the tailoring on this is just divine. Unlined, semi-sheer at rayon, sheer at lace, button closures at back and cuffs, plus snaps up side.
ESTIMATED SIZE: Medium; keep in mind this blouse was meant to skim over the body, not fit loosely. It is pictured pinned lightly at the waist on an x-small dressform.
CONDITION: Good vintage condition. This garment is clean, sturdy, ready to wear and presents beautifully, but does have some things to note. There's some iron shine to the fabric face, particularly on the sleeves. There's some light scuffing throughout the fabric as well -- somewhat noticeable across the chest in the right lighting. Presents so well with all the right details! Please keep in mind this is a vintage garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
MORE INFORMATION: No maker or contents labels, appears homemade. Appears to be made of silk blend rayon and nylon lace. Dry clean only.
