The MET has a pair of this brand's platform shoes from 1948 in their collection. The Blum Store, where this pair was sold, was a women's specialty store on the corner of 13th and Chestnut Streets in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with three branch locations in the Philadelphia suburbs. The store was comparable in quality, style, and reputation to larger chains Bonwit Teller and Lord & Taylor and was one of the premier chains headquartered in Philadelphia, selling women's clothing and accessories and children's clothing.

CONDITION: Good vintage condition, but these were very well-loved. There's general wear throughout to the footbed, heel and insole. The insole at the toes is a little dry; I've trimmed some peeling and re-colored some faded areas, but it's noticeable under close inspection. Overall, a great shoe at a very affordable price if you're ok with well-loved pieces! Please keep in mind this is a vintage garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
MORE INFORMATION: By Beleganti, sold at The Blum Store. Suede upper, leather sole. Speciality suede clean only.

Please be aware all monitors display colors differently. Additionally, all of our clothing is pre-owned and vintage/antique, which means each piece may feature minor signs of wear, as noted in the description. To learn more, please view our store policies.
