Versatile 1940/50s black slip featuring a straight neckline, thin straps, full skirt and longer length. This slip was probably originally a companion to a dress, thus its harder-to-find silhouette. Unlined, side zipper.
MEASUREMENTS: (taken with garment lying flat; bust, waist & hips doubled for your convenience) →bust: 34 inches →waist: 28 inches →hips: free →length: 39 inches →straps (NOT adjustable): 12 inches
ESTIMATED SIZE: Medium
CONDITION: Good vintage condition with general wear and underarm discoloration (see last photo). Normally, I would pass a slip in this condition up, but considering its age and unusual silhouette, I figured there was someone out there searching for it! Priced accordingly. Please keep in mind this is a vintage garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
MORE INFORMATION: No contents or makers labels. Feels like a polyester & nylon mix. Hand wash cold with gentle detergent, hang to dry.
PLEASE NOTE: Black Cat Clothiers cannot accept returns due to fit. Please compare the detailed measurements noted above to one of your garments that fits you well. Additionally, all of our clothing is pre-owned and vintage/antique, which means each piece may feature minor signs of wear, as noted in the description. To learn more, please view our store policies.
