Absolutely stunning 1940s black crepe gown featuring dazzling gold sequin details along the neckline and shoulders, plus long sleeves for elegant coverage, a fitted waist and long, sweeping skirt. Channel Old Hollywood with this glamorous gown! Unlined, slightly sheer, side metal zipper closure. Eligible for layaway, please contact me for more details!
CONDITION: Very good vintage condition with a few things to note: there are two light scuffs, one on the right arm and the other just below the bust. Both have lightened with treatment and are not particularly noticeable when worn. Additionally, there is some light fade at the hem on the back of the skirt -- again, not noticeable when worn. Lastly, the zipper doesn't perfectly line up with itself -- it's completely wearable and won't be noticeable, but worth noting. Please keep in mind this is a vintage garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
COLOR: Black with gold sequins
MORE INFORMATION: No maker or contents labels. Appears to be made of rayon blend crepe and sequins. Dry clean.
PLEASE NOTE: Black Cat Clothiers only accepts returns if a mistake was made in describing the garment, for which we ask you to contact us within 3 days of receiving the garment. Please compare the detailed measurements noted above to one of your garments (not your body measurements; clothing should allow room for movement) that fits you well. Please be aware all monitors display colors differently. Additionally, all of our clothing is pre-owned and vintage/antique, which means each piece may feature minor signs of wear, as noted in the description. To learn more, please view our store policies.
