Vampy 1950s black velveteen frock featuring a collared Queen Anne neckline, fitted waist and flared knee-length skirt. An amazing, wearable addition to any pin-up's wardrobe. Unlined but opaque, side metal zipper closure.
MEASUREMENTS: (taken with garment lying flat; bust, waist & hips doubled for your convenience) →shoulder to shoulder: 15 inches →bust: 36 inches →waist: 30 inches →hips: 44 inches →length: 45 inches →sleeve length: 18 inches →wrist opening: 5.5 inches
ESTIMATED SIZE: Medium; no stretch on this piece and I think it fits a little smaller than the measurements read.
CONDITION: Good vintage condition. Most notably, this dress does have some lingering smell of cigarette smoke. It's been cleaned and aired out, but I'd recommend another dry cleaning. This was homemade and is well-worn -- there's some hand repairs throughout and signs of general wear, including seating to the nap and some even, light fading. Priced according and perfectly wearable! Please keep in mind this is a vintage garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
COLOR: Washed black
MORE INFORMATION: No maker or content labels. Appears homemade from cotton velveteen. Dry clean.
PLEASE NOTE: Black Cat Clothiers only accepts returns if a mistake was made in describing the garment, for which we ask you to contact us within 3 days of receiving the garment. Please be aware all monitors display colors differently. Additionally, all of our clothing is pre-owned and vintage/antique, which means each piece may feature minor signs of wear, as noted in the description. To learn more, please view our store policies.
