Fun and flirty late 1950s/early 1960s black eyelet lace dress featuring a wide, scoop neckline, interlocking diagonal pattern featuring eyelet lace, dramatic cuffs and a fitted waist. Super cute with knee-high stockings and Mary Jane heels! Lined in bodice and skirt, sleeves unlined, back zipper closure.
ESTIMATED SIZE: X-Small; probably best for a petite wearer as this was likely a junior's dress; no give to fabric
CONDITION: Very good vintage condition with some light, overall signs of wear. I believe the cuffs were added later - maybe in the mid-60s. Please note the zipper works fine, just too small for my 34" bust dressform. Please keep in mind this is a vintage garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
COLOR: Black with cream lace cuffs
MORE INFORMATION: No maker or contents labels. Appears to be made of cotton with an acetate lining. Hand wash or dry clean.
PLEASE NOTE: Black Cat Clothiers only accepts returns if a mistake was made in describing the garment, for which we ask you to contact us within 3 days of receiving the garment. Please compare the detailed measurements noted above to one of your garments (not your body measurements; clothing should allow room for movement) that fits you well. Please be aware all monitors display colors differently. Additionally, all of our clothing is pre-owned and vintage/antique, which means each piece may feature minor signs of wear, as noted in the description. To learn more, please view our store policies.
SHIPPING: All orders are processed and shipped within 1-3 business days, unless otherwise noted. Shipping rates are calculated by USPS at checkout and are dependent on the weight of the item(s) you've purchased in addition to packaging.
