Positively opulent early 1950s black cocktail hat featuring a sheer veil, silver & gold embellishments and a dramatic shape. Created Oppenheim Collins, a high-end women's fashion store that opened in New York in 1901. Pair with a black wiggle dress for black widow vibes. Unlined, no pins or closures.
MEASUREMENTS: (taken with garment lying flat) →interior circumference (some room due to wire brim): 19-21 inches →length: 7.5 inches →width: 11.5 inches
CONDITION: Very good vintage condition. I had to re-tack some of the netting to the trim and the embellishments have a nice patina to them. Please keep in mind this is a vintage garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
COLOR: Black with silver/clear and gold-ish embellishments
MORE INFORMATION: By Oppenheim Collins. Made in the USA. Appears to be made of felt and glass beading. Lightly spot clean only.
PLEASE NOTE: Black Cat Clothiers cannot accept returns due to fit. Please compare the detailed measurements noted above to one of your garments that fits you well. Additionally, all of our clothing is pre-owned and vintage/antique, which means each piece may feature minor signs of wear, as noted in the description. To learn more, please view our store policies.
