Spellbinding 1950s eyelet lace & black mesh gloves featuring a spiderweb pattern, curved wrist, elegant ruffle accent and rhinestone detail. Unlined, no closures.
MEASUREMENTS: (taken with garment lying flat) →palm: 3 inches across →wrist opening: 4 inches
ESTIMATED SIZE: 6-6 1/2 modern glove size; I recommend slim, long-fingered hands for these.
CONDITION: Very good vintage condition with two repairs: a horizontal line of stress in the left glove's mesh that I've darned, but is visible (see sixth photo) and a loose seam in the left's pointer finger, repaired but not visible. These are lovely gloves and will last for many more years when worn with care! Please keep in mind this is a vintage garment, which means minor signs of wear are to be expected. Any significant flaws are always noted in the description. All garments are mended, cleaned and ready to wear unless otherwise noted.
MORE INFORMATION: By Lady Gay. Nylon. Hand wash in cold water with gentle detergent, remove promptly and lie flat to dry. (Please note: I hand-washed these gloves to remove some spots, and unfortunately, the tag is now no longer readable.)
PLEASE NOTE: Because sizing varies greatly based on year, brand and garment type, we recommend you compare the measurements noted above to an article of clothing you already own that fits you well. All garments are measured lying flat unless otherwise noted. Black Cat Clothiers cannot accept returns due to fit, so please pay careful attention to these measurements and ask questions before purchasing! Additionally, all of our clothing is pre-owned and vintage, which means each piece may feature minor signs of wear. Take a look at our store policies for more information.
